LO with Ruffled Banner & Flower

Over on Stuck on U sketches blog this Friday it was my turn to present the tutorial,I chose to make the ruffled banner & matching flower ......

the beautiful photo is of my handsome grandson Leigh jnr. (16.5 yrs) & his little sister, Charlie Frances (5yrs), taken by Auntie Ness,  during the Christmas holidays. I have used my favourite 'at the moment' patterned paper, matching embellishments and goodies from my stash

Stuck on U Sketch for March 18

Happy Friday, everyone! Here we are past St. Patrick's Day already ... next step Easter ... time is scooting by..

haven't done much scrapping .. have had a chaotic few weeks & bronchitis to add to it .. however I'm on the mend & now doing a huge catch up ... 

Heading off for the weekend to a retreat so should manage to achieve something  LOL ....

SCRAPBUDZ BLOG CHALLENGE

I really like playing around with colour challenges... over at Scrapbudz Boutique blog at present there is an interesting challenge titled 'Latte & Cream' ... 

challenge is to create a layout on coffee or cream coloured cardstock only
and using the colours from the featured sweet from the coffee shop specials board .... 

this month's being a ....... Green Tea Gateau .....

My take on the Challenge

The photo is of my beautiful grandchildren , twins Leigh jnr. & Stevie with their little sister Charlie taken just prior to Christmas 2010...

I featured these cards using Kaiser 'English Rose' range of papers & embellishments, it is great to make cards using your bits & pieces left from current LOs you've been working on & the added bonus is it also uses up some 'stuff ' from your stash .....

March Sketch for Scrapbudz

This months sketch at Scrapbudz is a beautiful one  by 'Budz' designer 'Ness Waller .... I really enjoy working with Crafty-Ness sketches & know I will use this particular one again ...

Using the lovely Kaiser patterned paper & embellishments from the 'English Rose' range available from Scrapbudz Scrapbook Boutique...these papers are so soft & feminine ...   Prima pearl flourish & mix of  flowers ... pics are of DGD Stevie & Charlie having fun together ....

Stuck on U Sketch for March 4

A great sketch on SOUS again this fortnight designed by Suepup,

my take using a variety of products including MME, basic grey, kaiser, CI & Prima. I love this photo of Charlie looking so tenderly at the dolly in her arms. the dolly's name is kathleen and was her mummy's doll when she was the same age ...  yep I hoard ... however photos like this one make hoarding worthwhile ...

A2Z Scraplets March Sketch

The March sketch challenge on A2Z Scraplets blog  was set by Lindy Gillespie, it is a Pencillines sketch by Natalie Elphinstone .... 

I had fun with this ...these pics of Charlie were taken on her birthday by  Aunty Ness ... and her mummy wrote the verse .... hand made crepe paper flower was made with some of her party streamers ...with a bit of kindy glitz to add sparkle

Scrap with V March 1st Sketch

A lovely sketch to play with for the 1st March challenge on the Scrap with V blog .. set by Irit Shalom who chose a Prima sketch by Anam

For my take  I used basic grey 'Curio' patterned papers added a scrap of 7 Gypsies which I inked with cocoa versamark, maya road chipboard flourish, BG embellishments , lace, prima & petaloo flowers ... Stevie & her friend Lizzay posing again LOL !!!
